Evryday Learning provides private English and Spanish tutoring. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Inquiry information: name, email address, phone number if provided, language, current level, goals, and availability.
- Placement information: name, email address, exam answers, score, CEFR band, and any optional writing sample.
- Lesson records: scheduling details, learning goals, lesson notes, corrections, vocabulary, homework, and progress notes for enrolled students.
- Basic technical information: information normally sent by your browser to the hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, and request logs.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, provide placement results, plan and deliver lessons, maintain student progress records, provide support, prevent misuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Legal bases and choices
Where applicable, we process information to take steps you request before providing tutoring, to perform our tutoring agreement, for legitimate operational and security interests, or with your consent. You may choose not to provide optional information, although that may limit our ability to personalize lessons.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be handled by service providers that support hosting, email, scheduling, payments, or other business operations. They may use it only to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
Retention and security
We keep inquiry and placement information only as long as reasonably necessary to follow up and operate the service. Student records may be retained for the tutoring relationship and a reasonable period afterward. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. You may also withdraw consent for future processing. We will verify requests when appropriate.
Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. A parent or legal guardian should contact us before submitting information for a minor.
International use
If you access the service from outside the country where our systems or providers operate, your information may be processed in another country with different data-protection laws.
